These terms govern your use of Jotdown ("the service"). By signing up or using the service, you agree to them. They're short.
Jotdown sends you a daily writing prompt by email. You reply with whatever you'd like to write. We send a response back. Some of what you write may optionally appear on the community page under a pen name you choose.
You sign up with your email address. There are no passwords. Keep your email address accurate — it's the only way we can reach you and the only way you can use the service.
You own what you write. By replying to a prompt, you give us permission to store it, generate a response to it, and — if you choose to make it public — display it on the community page under your pen name.
You agree not to submit content that is illegal, harassing, or designed to harm others. We reserve the right to remove content or terminate access if these terms are violated.
Entries you mark as public are visible to anyone on the internet at replydaily.email/community. They appear under your pen name, not your email address. You can make an entry private again at any time using the link in your feedback email.
We aim to send one prompt per day. Sometimes emails are delayed or things break. We don't guarantee uninterrupted service and aren't liable for missed days or technical issues.
You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email. We can suspend or terminate access at our discretion if these terms are violated. To delete your data entirely, contact us at hello@replydaily.email.
Jotdown is provided as-is. We make no warranties about fitness for a particular purpose. We are not responsible for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service.
We may update these terms. If we make significant changes, we'll notify you by email. Continued use of the service after notice constitutes acceptance.
